Amber in Chicago

Ambers friend Amanda turned 16 on Friday so Amanda's Dad took Amanda and Amber to Chicago to see "Wicked". They had such a great time. Their seats were right up front and center. Amber was on cloud nine.
They went to the "the Hard Rock Cafe" for dinner and then did a bit of shopping. Amber said the buildings were huge and she can't quit talking about how much fun she had. They went to Walmart and got the soundtrack and have been blasting us out of the house with it ever since.
Amanda was going to get her license before she left but Amber and her had gone the day before to get her Passports and they took her original birth certificate so she won'r be able to get it until it is mailed back to her. Poor kid. Amber, Amanda and Bryce are going to England together in August to visit some friends that they met here in Nauvoo last summer.
Amber has two jobs, NRI and the Hotel Restaraunt, this summer to pay for it. They are so excited.

St. Patricks Day

Webfetti.com

St Patricks day was crazy at my house. The kids were all decked out and green and running around like a bunch of hyped up leprechans. I gotta say they keep me hoppin but I love 'em.

Primary Quarterly Activity

For our activity this month we had a family history day. The kids all got a tour of the family history library. Then they got a chance to look up names on the church website.
Then they made journals so they would have a record of their own life. We talked about how important the jornals of our ancestors have been in helping us do family history today.
We had a great turn out and I think everyone had a good time. I really love being in the primary presidency and the ladies I get to work with.

Stake Basketball Tournament

The girls all spent Saturday, March 8th in Macomb, Illinois at the Stake Basketball tournament.
Marty was going to drive them up but at the last minuet they decided to take the Adams 15 passenger van and so Marty could stay home and work on a few side jobs he was aksed to do.
So the went to Macomb, Marty split logs and then started a carpet job and I got my hair done
and then babysat for temple kids in the afternoon. I also watched the Adams kids and paid them a dollar each to clean house. It was so cool. The kids lost every game but they had a great time.

And Marty got the stuff he wanted done. It was a great Saturday.

Mommy got a "Time Out"

I got to go to my very first "Time Out for Women" put on by deseret book. Mom got me tickets. Melissa Adams and Kim Matthews got to ride with us and we split the cost of the hotel. It was in Chicago and we had the best time. Even the long drive there was a complete blast. Mom makes everything so much fun.

I came home on such an emotional high it was almost funny. The next morning was Sacrament meeting and I practicaly ran to the pulpit and proceeded to tell everyone how much I love them all. It was an awesome meeting and I wish I could feel that good all the time. I guess that is up to me.
