They go into the mission training center on December 15th and then they come here to good old Nauvoo, Illinois. They will be staying in Mom and Dad's house right next door to me! YEA! It's party time!

Warsaw High School Performing Arts Presents "FRIGHT NIGHT FOLLIES"

We went to see Amber perform in her High Schools musical fundraiser. This is how they raise funds for their big musical in the spring. It was a great idea because I enjoyed it so much I can't wait to see what they will come up with in the spring. Amber was able to perform two solo's one duet and in a couple of skits. The whole night was fun! It was a Halloween Variety show and they did such a great job I was disappointed when it was over.

I took a lot of video but I took it in very short clips so I could blog it easily. It give you a "tiny" idea of some of the stuff Amber did. I wish I could have recorded the whole thing it was so cute. I posted some video clips below, enjoy!

NEW BLOG

My mom's cousin Sidney has a new blog! Her family owns Queen Bee Gardens in Lovell, Wyoming. At her blog there are links to their company where you can purchase the most amazing honey candy ever! You should check it out! http://queenbeegardens.blogspot.com/

Indoor Hotdog Roast!

Sage decided to take advantage of the fire in the fireplace on Sunday to roast hot dogs. Lacey decided she wanted to do it too. They had a lot of fun and we laughed a lot.

The funny thing is they don't like hotdogs and ended up feeding them to Harry and Bentley.

Marty has been working on OUR HOUSE!!!

He finished my wood floors on Saturday. All he had left was down by the girls bedrooms and bathroom.

Next he will be finishing the walls down there. I am SO EXCITED!!

Pumpkin Walk

We all went over as a family to walk around and see the pumpkins. I didn't get very good pictures, it was very crowded and we had Harry and Bentley with us. They were a hit! We went to Annie's and had Clam Chowder and Custard!! It was a great time. It always is!

I wish my camera would take better night pictures because most of them are blurry and black. There were so many people there and there were hundreds of carved pumpkins. I love Halloween in Nauvoo!

Halloween Costumes For the Pumpkin Walk

Sage went and got the girls all costumes for tonight. They are going to be witches.
They wanted to be princesses but the only princess costumes Walmart had were toddler sized so they are going to be looking all year for princess costumes. If you see any give us a heads up.
Take a peek at my scary witches!!

I don't know about you but I was scared!! They look far too grown up and ...very scarey!
And look! besides that they turned Bently into a Lady Bug and Harry into a Bumble Bee!

Getting ready for the "Pumpkin Walk"

My friend Helen owns "Annie's Fresh Frozen Custard" every year I get to make Clam Chowder fot the Annual Nauvoo Pumpkin Walk. Helen Sells it at her shop along with Barbeque shredded Pork sandwiches and dirt and worms (chocolate custard with oreo's and gummy worms) and any of the regular frozen custard combo's that she usually serves.
Saturday Sage, Lacey and I went to Annies. I made Clam Chowder, Sage and Lacey helped clean up and set up for the big night. They are awesome workers and Helen loves it when we come and help. (I am so proud) Amber was over working at the Fudge Factory and Marty was setting out all of the carved Pumpkins.

We can't wait for tonight. Helens sisters are all in town so they will help serve tonight and then Annies will be closed until next spring. I love her custard. YUMMMY!!!!!

Lacey's MRI

We had to take Lacey to get an MRI on Thursday. She gets migraines pretty regularly but on Monday she lost vision in one eye and went numb down one arm. Then she got a horrible migraine and was sick for a few days and had to sleep in a dark room.
We went to Carthage hospital. On Thursdays a truck comes, it's a big diesel truck and it has an MRI machine in the back. It was kinda funny to leave the hospital, climb into a truck to get this stuff done. Carthage as you might have guessed is a very small hospital.

Unfortunately they couldn't do it because Lacey has braces and we all overlooked it. LOL poor Lacey so now we go back and discuss alternate idea's. : )

Another Birthday Party at My House!

We had another birthday party at my house. Kennedy turned 3. Since Marty always has my camera at work I used my cell phone. I just figured out it was on a thumbnail setting so the pictures are tiny. Sorry. We had a fun day so I just had to blog it.

BEST BUDDIES!!

Bentley and Harry are inseparable. They are best friends and they spend most of the afternoons right here in this chair just as you see them now. They are so fun we just love them.
