Sushi the Illinois Way

You know us we always have to use new friends as an excuse to visit our favorite restaurant. The GREAT BUFFET!!! Yes Sushi should be eaten in Mass Quantities!! lol

No this is Elder and Sister Handcock. Elder Handcock works closley with Marty and he is great. Elder and Sister Neal left to go home and they replaced him with Elder Handcock. Marty misses Elder Neal a lot but Elder Handcock has been great to work with.

Well we exposed them to our version of all you can eat. They didn't try the sushi but they loved the Buffet!!

Mom and Dad's Bathroom Update

Marty hasn't worked on the bathroom since mom and dad left for Utah, this is how it looked before they left. It is so nice. Pictures just don't do it justice. It's almost finished.

Lacey's braces

The braces are on!! She actually looks really cute with braces. She loves them but he mouth is a little sore. Marty drove her to Iowa City to her ortho apptment while we were in Chicago sending Sage off. Next they put on the bottom ones......

Sage left for Utah

It was so fun having Sage home for Christmas. We really miss her when she is gone. We drove her back to Chicago where we celebrated her 18th Birthday on Thursday the 3rd. She flew out on the morning of the 4th at 7am and we headed for home. Mom drove Amber and I. Marty stayed home because Lacey had an orthodontist appointment.

New Years Eve

The girls invited all the kids from the ward. They brought food and games. These pictures were from the beginning of the evening. It got pretty crazy later on. I think everyone had a good time. It was a great way to start out the new year. Yea...it's 2008!!
