since Thanksgiving Marty and Dad have been working on Mom's bathroom. They had to break a hole in the floor and then dig a hole deep enough for this pump. It took a few days and alot of back breaking hauling to carry all the broken pieces of concrete and dirt outta there, but they look pretty happy with the results.

First, I love the new layout, especially the background of your blog!!
Second, I am so excited that mom and dad will finally have a bathroom in the basement! I will no longer worry about the kids getting lost or waking up others on their way up the stairs, through the kitchen, down the hall, and to the left. Hooray!!
Marty, you need to show me how to do a basement toilet without the major piping. Sounds like a great option. Lee
