Happy Aniversary Marty and Jamie!

Today is the 16th anniversary of our temple sealing. It was what I always wanted and prayed for and It was one of the happiest days of my life. Marty and I were Married in 1989. Marty was baptised a member of the church in 1990. He had been born and raised in Utah and attended a lot of Church activities in his life he just never became a member. When Sage was born we had some complications and my brother-in-law Steve came to the hospital with his friend Paul to give Sage a blessing. Marty felt so bad that he wasn't the one blessing his baby. Sage was born in January, in February the missionaries along with our ward mission leader came to our home in West Jordan. Marty came to the door and said "I had a feeling you guys were coming" He took the discussions, quit his Copenhagen habit, and was baptised that same month.
Things weren't perfect after that but they were better. On July 3rd 1992 Marty took me to the temple and we were sealed to each other and to our two little girls, Sage (2) and Amber (2 mos.) for time and all eternity. It was the most precious gift he ever gave me. I won't say that going to the temple made our lives perfect but it was right and it was good. The blessings have been enumerable and everyday is better than the last. I know that the Lord loves us and wants us to be happy. We are happy and I am so grateful.

Happy Temple anniversary Jamie!

I was looking at the pictures trying to remember why I wasn't there. Then I remembered. I was watching Tracy's kids in Washington State so that she could be there. I'm glad she was there and could be in the temple with you.

Who would have known how far you and Marty would grow and move and change since then. I love you, and I am so proud of you for who you are and all you do for everyone around you.
