Last night we went to a farewell potluck dinner for my mom and dad. Dad, David Wright, just retired as the Nauvoo Temple recorder. He and my mom, Vivian, will be leaving tomorrow to go live with my mom's parents, John and Helen Dickson, in Arlington Washington. My grandparents are getting older and my parents want to spend some good quality time with them while they can and they want to make things a little easier for them by helping around their place.
Nancy Campbell threw this wonderful party for them in her beautiful yard. It was a lot of fun and the turn out was great.Lori Hardle, Bishop Chris Church, Me, Marcus Allen, Tom Adams, Melissa Adams, Dad, Bonnie Holliday
The food was so good and there was plenty of it. It was a perfect night for a party. I know my parents were grateful for a chance to say goodbye in such a relaxed setting.

Lacey took pictures for me so I could visit and she got pictures of everyone but Sage because she left early. It was a super fun night and it felt good to see how much my mom and dad are loved and appreciated. I am going to miss them so much.

How are YOU holdin' up, Jamie? Bet it can't be easy watching them go...but it's comforting to know they'll be back someday... :)
Looks like a great party! That was nice of the Campbells to do it.
Wow, there are a lot of people there! I'm glad they're coming this way, for a couple of days anyway.

My heart goes out to you Jamie. I live just a few miles away from my Mom and would die if I couldn't talk to her or see her daily. I'll be thinking about you the next few weeks.
I am excited because they are supposed to come through AZ and stay with Judy and Curtis for a few days. I have never met your parents and can't wait to do so.
