I love Conference Weekend!

I was so excited for conference this time. I always am but this time with all the bad things that are happening in the world I was anxious to hear what our prophet and leaders had to say. I was not disappointed.
I feel like they just reminded us to get back to the basics. Strengthen our faith in the Lord. Pray, read our scriptures, serve our fellow man, love those who hate us, prepare ourselves physically and spiritually. They reminded us over and over again that the Lord is mindful of us and that he will be with us through all adversity and that He loves us. They made no promises that things would not get hard but reminded us of what is important in life and that we will never be alone. The Lord is with us always and he will strengthen us when we need him the most. We have seen hard times in the past and we can handle anything that comes our way because the Lord has prepared us and taught us what we need to survive.
Faith, Hope, and Charity have never meant more to me than after listening to the words of men called of God to administer to us and teach us. I am so grateful to know that God listens to us, that he is aware of us and our needs. That he is a loving and merciful God who has given us all that we love in this life and then offers us more than we can comprehend if we will be obedient and faithful.
I feel like I can handle anything and I know what I need to do to be ready. I have always known, it is just a wonderful feeling to know the truth of the gospel and the peace and joy it brings to my life. Life is good and I am excited to see what the future holds for us.
