For Family Home Evening we tried to clean up the yard. We did this just over a week ago and it looks terrible again. We started at 4pm and had to quit when it got dark at 6.
It rained all day Tuesday. Hopefully it won't rain on the weekend and we can get it all ready for winter. Raking leaves is fun but we need more TIME!

I love autumn! I love raking leaves, and jumping in them, and leaf wars, I even like rain, but you look cold!

Oh Jamie I feel sooooo guilty!!! All those leaves in our yard. You never have as many as us and now you have them all! I recognized the mower and rake and wheelbarrow but I'm afraid we need to supply a lot more than that to the project! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH! Please forgive us for leaving it all for you to do.
We are SO GRATEFUL for the MOWER the Rake and the WHEELBARROW. The only thing I wish was that you weren't so great at taking care of your yard because now that you are gone everyone comments "Who is taking care of your parents yard?" "You can sure tell they are gone." LOL We miss you guys but taking care of the yards and stuff is really no big deal, we just aren't as good as you at it. LOL
i'm going to have to clean my leaves up today. we're sick of leaves being dragged in on our feet.
I got my shoes in burlington in the mall, I think the place is called the shoe depot or something like that. it is across from claires.
I can't believe how many leaves you have to deal with!! That's the price you have to pay to have beautiful shady trees in the summer, right?
You feel guilty Viv! Not nearly as guilty as I do as I see our house in the pictures. Oh Jamie, thank you and your family for being so so very wonderful. Please give them my love and thanks!! We are SO VERY GRATEFUL!! We owe you BIG!!!

The youth had to do some service at my house during a scavenger hunt, and since I was too embarrassed to have them clean my house, I made them rake all my leaves. It worked out perfect!
