I was sent home early from cleaning the temple tonight because the fore casted ice storm hit hard at about 9:30pm. We were out by 10pm and it was already BAD! It is really raining. School is canceled for tomorrow and we are in an area that is supposed to be hit with the heaviest ice. Between 1/2 inch to 9/10 of an inch according to the news. at around midnight until about 3am it is supposed to turn into a thunderstorm. I hope we don't lose power but it sounds like the the chances of losing a few power lines is very high. All I can say is we are HAVING AN ADVENTURE!!

ICE STORM in NAUVOO

I'm SO excited! They don't have ice storms in Idaho and it has been a while since we've gotten one in December so I'm like a little kid in a candy store. I volunteered to take my dog for a walk and the white pine trees by our house are so weighed down with ice. Every individual needle is coated! It is AMAZING!!
