Amber and Amanda went to "David's Chamber" to take some cool winter pictures. "David's Chamber" is just a little outside of Nauvoo along the river road (highway). They call it David's Chamber because David Smith the son of Joseph and Emma Smith use to Paint there. He has some of his paintings hanging at the Community of Christ Church visitor center.
I think this is the coolest I have seen it look since we have lived here.

Thanks Jamie, for bringing me to Nauvoo for a while the pictures are beautiful. Good News Forest and Ashley were married Tuesday the 20th so we now have another Daughter. Sure do love you guys Judy

You mention that is down the highway from Nauvoo on the river road, is there a sign or something indicating David's Chamber, or is it something you just have to know about? I realize this is a random commment from someone you don't know, but your site does say everyone is welcome. I only ask b/c I recently took Church History from Susan Easton Black and she mentioned a lot of places in Nauvoo I have never been to. I have been to every touristy place, now I want to see the other cool places...
Yes it there is a sign. It is on the way to Keokuk on river rad from Nauvoo. It is just a bit past the bird refuge. When you come to Nauvoo next let us know and e will hook you up with the stuff only the locals know. lol
