They now stand at their door and hold it open for Scrapper. Scrapper is dad's cat. He lives in the big shed in the back and that is where he stayed until now...Harry and Bentley stand at the door until Scrapper walks in and they all eat dinner together. Then after he has explored all over he wants out. I just hope that they limit their dinner guests to the family mouser and don't start inviting in the local riffraff....coons, possums, rabbits, mice, other dogs...but who knows with our little socialites. So much for our fancy door.

The Doggy Door
We are still working on remodeling the laundry room of our home. We decided to put in a doggy door and fence in the little courtyard area right behind our house for the dogs. Well we COULDN'T get just a regular doggy door because Marty is paranoid about other animals comming in the house. So we had to get the kind that opens with the collar signal. The problem with that is Harry will NOT go through a door that is not opened for him, he will stand and whine at a door that is cracked open a bit if it isn't wide enough for him to walk through without touching his sides. lol So we bought this fancy door that they walk up to and it opens right up for them and closes behind them. Ingenious right? lol That is what you think...

That would be quite entertaining. Could you please get that on video. I'd like to see the door in action:)
That is such a funny story. I could see my kids doing something like that too! (If they were dogs and had a doggy door of course.)
What a great door!!! It's nice that Scrapper has some good friends and allies!
We had a doggy door for Bridger, until he started rolling in horse poop and running into the house. I decided to take the door out, it took him slamming into the glass door a couple of times to realize it was gone...poor dog.
