It is way too hot in Old Nauvoo. I decided to pull some weeds and work in my garden yesterday. I was sweating so much it looked like I jumped in the pool. I could not drink enough water to keep up. It felt so hot to me and so humid. I thought it was because I am not use to being outside because I am usually stuck inside all day with daycare. I finally went in at 12:00 to feed my family lunch and the girls told me the heat index was 109 degrees. No wonder!!I am going to work inside today! :) If there are weeds for the wedding oh well it's better than a withered up old prune as a mother of the bride. :)

I can't decide if I should call you lucky? it was low 60's yesterday, I wore a sweatshirt all day long.
Does that mean it finally stopped raining? We're excited to see you for the wedding!!
If you don't get to the weeds you can always show them off as native plants, and anounce yourself as going green. I was going to weed today and only got one flower bed done. I agree it is habanero hot, with a lot of steam. The wedding will be great by the way.
Elder Dickson and I thought we had been in your swimming pool with our clothes on when we got done with performing at "Sunset On The Mississippi" last night. How on earth did the pioneer Saints do it!!! We had a cool house to come home to and running water for a wonderful shower. We still had fun doing the show.
How funny, we've been swamped in rain for weeks and this week is dry and hot for us too. I guess I don't know if it is dry there. 109 - that is crazy!
