I don't know how many people know but Brandon Flowers of the music group "the Killers" visited Nauvoo Monday and Tuesday. How do I know this? Because Amanda Mathews and Amy Andrus took him and his friends to the movie "All about Steve" in Keokuk. They wanted to go but were stranded as their driver needed sleep and there is no car rental or theater here in Nauvoo. :) Why do I care? Because I LOVE THE KILLERS!!! I so bad wanted to go see him but I would not embarrass my children by being an over 40 groupie/stalker so I kept my distance and waited until they left town to post this. I have to admit that when I went on my walk with Melissa Tuesday morning I went a little off the usual path and walked right past their tour bus hoping to catch a peek. No luck. :) It was still fun to know they camped the night in our little state park camp ground. Cool huh!!! I thought so.

Wait...are you saying that Amanda and Amy went to see a moving with BRANDON FLOWERS??? Is that what you are saying???? Becuase I am SO JEALOUS if that is what you are saying!!!
Did I miss the part of the story where Amy Andrus came into it? Did they just look up the A's in the phone book and see Andrus, Amy?
YES!!! They did then they went to a barbecue with them on Tuesday and brought their cousin Dylan. I was so jealous!!! Amy's brother in law was playing with his dog at the state park and started talking to the driver. When he told Amy, she and Amanda turned stalker and got VERY LUCKY. Some people have all the luck!!
I've never heard of the Killers or Brandon Flowers. I'm so out of it. I'm getting old:(
