home makeover projects
Well our roof was desperately in need of a makeover. The shingles are curling and it looks terrible. So we decided to go with "slate blue" metal roof. Amber and Luke helped by painting the shutters.
Lacey, Marty and I pulled off the old shingles on the front half. It was really hot and a lot of work.

But it looks great! the front half is finished now it is time for the back half.....if it would just stop raining long enough to pull the shingles. I can't believe how much rain we are still getting. My yard is a swamp!
We still have a few mores shutters to paint and hang but it is looking really good. I love the color.
I have hated the set up of my living room and dining room for a long long time. I finally got tired of fighting it and moved my dining room to the fireplace and made my old dining room my living room. I LOVE IT!! I bought a antique rug from Helen and finished it off to get these results. I couldn't be happier. Now if it would just quit with the rain and thunderstorms we could finish the roof.

I LOVE IT! I am a fan of your switch!
I think it looks so great! I LOVE the color that you chose for the roof and it just makes your house look happy (is that cheesy to say?) and put together.
I like how you moved the furniture around. It almost seems like you need a bigger table now, huh? :) I really like how well everything works! Good job! Thanks for sharing.
I love the switch. It seems to flow really well. I also love the roof. Can't wait to see it in person.
