I wondered how hard it was going to be to clean up. It looks like they really knew what they were doing. Way to be prepared.

Clean Up - Flood 2008
I had to go grocery shopping in Keokuk, Iowa today. They are cleaning up the road between Hamilton and Keokuk that I showed in previous posts. If you remember this lane that I am driving on was under water and we were driving on gravel piled almost to the top of these concrete dividers. These pictures give you an idea of how high they had to build the road to keep the bridge open. Wow!

I can't believe that! It's amazing how much they built up that road! Thanks for putting the pictures on and keeping me up to date, since we were supposed to be there right now and we can't now!! I miss you!
