So I finally got to see Liberty Jail. Wow. My testimony is stronger than ever after the experience. I am so greatful for the Prophet Joseph Smith and the sacrifices he made to bring us the fullness of the gospel.
Our next stop was independence. The only visitor center with no temple. So I borrowed the Comunity of Christ temple across the street until our temple is built someday. We went through the visitor center and then walked around the block and that ended our church history tour. We had dinner and then went back to the hotel.

On Tuesday we went to shop in an Amish community. I didn't take pictures because I wanted to show respect and I guess they don't like having their pictures taken. It was fun. We drove home just in time for me to go to work at the custard shop.

Even though it was extremely hot, it was a wonderful day there and I am so glad we all got to experience it together. I love the pic of us by the Christus.
How fun! I wish I could go on some sort of vacation. I have always thought Liberty Jail has a musty sort of smell to it which makes it seem more real to me.
